Repertory Dance Ensemble

Repertory Dance Ensemble is a one-year co-curricular honors level course designed for the advanced level student who wishes to perform and produce dance. In this class students rehearse for upcoming performances, choreograph, work with guest choreographers, and continue to master their own dance technique. Repertory Dance Ensemble performs and rehearses outside of the scheduled school day. Adhearence to the strictest rehearsal and performance standards will be required to maintain membership in this group. Enrollment is by audition only.
Repertory Dance Ensemble gives back to our communities by performing and educating the community about concert dance. Dancers perform various styles of movements including jazz, modern and ballet. RDE has performed for Komarek, Hollywood, Ames, St. Paul's and Brook Park Elementary Schools. Performances also include Navy Pier, Chicago Dance Slam, Stage 773, Illinois State Dance Festival,both the British and Schottish Homes, Chicago Dance Slam Festival and performed as part of "Dance For Life's- Next Generation."
